Just kidding. Every self-respecting photojournalist hates the shit out of multimedia. We pretend to act like it’s “exciting” and “cutting edge” but really we all know deep down that it’s a pain in the fucking ass. Instead of focusing on making compelling images, editors expect us to get “nat sound” and use our time that we could be out finding stories putting together weepy slideshows with shitty piano music that no one but our families (and/or other photojournalists) watches. Next time your editor asks if there’s multimedia potential, tell him/her how you really feel. Hell fucking no.
